Impressed by his first visit , Coach Bradley returns to 57357 with his family to be with the children
Bradley: “To see the kids, their smiles, their fighting spirit, is a reminder to all of us about what is important in life”
The Bradleys were so touched by their first visit to the hospital, they promised to return to spend more time with the children. Impressed by the 57357 institution and its humanitarian action, they seized the opportunity of the first visit of their two daughters to Egypt, to bring them along to see the children and the 57357 accomplishment even before taking them to the Pyramids!
This is the second visit of Bob Bradley, Egypt’s Soccer National Team Coach to 57357 since he arrived in Egypt in September. He had toured the premises in November accompanied by his spouse and international goalkeepers’ trainer, Abdel Fattah. This time the Bradley’s were keen to present their donation and visit with the children before going home to the U.S. for the Christmas Holidays.
In the out-patient, in-patient and day-care areas, children and staff were thrilled by their visit. As he interacted with the patients and families, Coach Bradley was surprised that some of the children were able to recognize him. At the end of his visit, he could not but express how grateful he was to see the children smiling and their eyes filled with hope and determination to get better despite their ordeal. “We came today to encourage and support the children and the healthcare team who are surrounding them with dedication and care; a healthcare team which understands the importance of catering to the physical as well as the psychological well –being of their patients” , said Bradley. With this second visit, the Bradleys were reiterating a message of on-going support to the 57357 institution and its core mission to enhance patient care and improve patients outcomes towards achieving cure.
