Up-coming Exhibition of artwork donated by 65 Italian Painters at Hospital 57357
The Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt is hosting an Exhibition of paintings on Fabriano paper donated by 65 Italian Artists on April 1rst from 5pm to 8pm and April 2nd from 10am to 5pm. the Exhibition, entitled “A sheet of paper along the Nile” will be held in the entrance hall of Hospital 57357 at 1 Seket El Imam St. Cairo.
This event is the culmination of a generous initiative by two lovers of the land of the Pharaohs residing presently in the city of Fabriano, Artist Aisha-Djenanne and her husband renowned painter Roberto Moshini. Under the patronage of the city of Fabriano represented by the Cassa di Risparmio Foundation and the non for profit cultural Association In Arte, they were able to channel the generous initiative of the Italian Artists towards the cause of Hospital 57357′s children with cancer. Thanks to the collaboration and support of the Egyptian Cultural Center in Rome, the Italian Embassy & the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo, the exhibition was launched first in Italy, in the city of Fabriano, and then moved to Rome, travelled to the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo, to reach its final destination at Hospital 57357.
Invitations were sent out to all friends of the Hospital, representatives of the diplomatic missions in Cairo and the Ministers of Tourism and Culture. The Italian Ambassador in Egypt is also expected to be present at the Inauguration.
