Dr. Mohamed El Naschie Visit Dr. Mohamed El Naschie, pioneer in the field of nanotechnology, visited the hospital this week. Dr. Naschie is a past nominee for the Nobel Prize in Physics for his groundbreaking work in this field. He toured the hospital facility and met with key administrative personnel to describe the ways in which nanotechnology can be applied to benefit the hospital. Nanotechnology is a field of applied science and technology that draws upon the concept of controlling matter on a scale smaller than one micrometer. Real applications of the technology that have entered the marketplace to have beneficial effects on the lives of many people include suntan lotion, cosmetics, protective coatings, and stain resistant clothing.
